Kevin Mitnick from his very teenage was a tech nerd, an ability that became a boon as well as bane for him in his later life. In the late years of 20th century when computing and hacking was not so common the hacking of Nokia and Motorola corporations and breaching the governmental databases for sensitive information stealing by him made him both a legend and a tech-criminal at the same time. Kevin Mitnick’s journey into the world of hacking began in his formative years, significantly influenced by his childhood experiences and early exposure to technology.
Born in 1963 in Los Angeles in a family which had nothing to do with science and techonology Kevin Mitnick keenness was supported hy his parents who gave him both the atmosphere and tools for his curious nature. The turning point in his explorative journey came when he got an amateur or ham radio licence for him in the 12 years age.
He then used this ham radioing for the manipulation and finding out the weakness of the communication systems. He was joined by many like-minded people wanting to utilize such unauthorized activities for them.
One point that also shaped Mitnick social life was the bullying habit of him. Which was the result of his technical and hacking expertise giving him a sense of powerfulness and strength making him both alienated and unacceptable in society by his own people.

Kevin Mitnick, often regarded as one of the most notorious hackers in history, employed a variety of sophisticated techniques and tools throughout his hacking career. The most used method of Kevin Mitnick was the social engineering. It is a psychological-turned-cyber attack on somebody to reveal their hidden information to the hackers.

Mitnick used the social engineering technique on its employees for providing him access to the most sensitive data of the company. His infiltration showed how the vulnerable is the cybersecurity of this company!!!
The technolgy company, Nokia, was also hacked by Mitnick. He got access to the source code as well as stole some valuable business information from the company systems. This hacking of Nokia not only brought some financial loss for the country but it also raised the questions of the intellectual property rights and cybersecurity in the new era of digitalization.
The sensitive data from the systems of the U.S government were also stole by this “most wanted hacker of world”. Both the US government and establishment were anxious about this breach which they believed had compromised the national security of the States.
